| Hi! My husband and I are expecting our first baby in Sept. and I wanted to start stockpiling diapers and wipes when they are on sale and I can use coupon deals. How much do you guys try to pay per diaper and per wipe (in the big refill packs) to consider it a good deal? Thanks so much! |

Congratulations on your first baby!!
Well, I know that I won't be the best source of information on prices but here are some tips.
I love the Kirkland wipes at Costco.
If you want to stock up on diapers then I would start with size 3 and 4. I know it sounds crazy, but you could get a lot of size 1 diapers at your baby shower(s). And you would be so surprised at how fast they can grow through those first sizes. My DS was born 6 wks early, weighed 4 1/2 pounds and STILL was in a size 3 by 5 months old! And then he wore the size 3 for over a year before we moved on to size 4. He stayed there until we started potty training at age 3. _________________ Hunter

Congratulations! My daughter is 15 months old.
We received alot of different type diapers at showers and were able to try everything from Walmart brand to Pampers. We have pretty much stuck with Luvs. $29.99 at BJ's plus doubling with a manufacture coupon and BJ coupon, can get the big for $24.99. It might always be the cheapest but it is convenient. Huggies are our 2nd choice. As for wipes, w prefer the pampers or huggies brand. Again, using the same strategy at BJ's can get it cheaper. However, watch the stores and often times, I have gotten the smaller packages free/almost free at Kroger and HT.
Many blessings and have fun! |
